摘要: The major demand of the current research into single-photon sources is the rapidly growth of the quantum information science. Here, I will introduce the current development of single photon sources and present my previous research about the single photon source based on four wave mixing in atomic ensemble. I will also discuss my latest work about placing ultracold Rydberg atoms into a high finesse optical cavity, which provides a platform for extraordinarily rich quantum states such as photon-photon bound molecules.
报告人简介:Dr. Chang Liu received a B.Sc degree from University of Science and Technology of China in 2010 and her Ph.D. from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2014. Then, Chang joins Kyung Soo Chois group at University of Waterloo and holds an Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) Postdoctoral Fellowship. Now her research focuses on quantum nonlinear optics with Rydberg atoms.
